Vikram Bhatt Wiki
He entered in the B Town way back in the year 1982 assisting the popular director late Mukul Anand in the movie called Kanoon Kya Karega, which was interestingly, Anand’s first movie. He was barely 14 when he assisted this veteran director. He continued working with him till his last movie called the classic movie of all time- Agneepath wherein he had the role of chief assistant. Later, he got the chance to work with director Shekhar Kapur, which lasted for around two and half years and then with Mahesh Bhatt for another two years for the movies like Junoon and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.
This gave him tangible experience compelling him to make a debut of director for the movie called Jaanam, which was however, produced by Mukesh Bhatt. However, all his four movies have turned out to be flop over the Box office. Soon, he embarked with his first successful movie called Fareb, which turned out to be a trendsetter giving a row another few successful movies called Kasoor, Ghulam, Awara Pagal Deewana, etc. However, after the completion of Apara Pagal Deewana, again his movies gutted down over the box office till the one called Deewane Huye Paagal and the semi biopic Ankahee hit the theatres.
In the year 2008, his first horror in the form of 1920 turned out a bit hit, which was followed with the movie Shaapit in 2010 giving another big hit horror trilogy. In the year 2010, Bhatt really pioneered in the 3D format, which came in the form of Haunted -3D, which finally released in the year 2011 and thus turned out to be among the highest grossing Hindin movie making 270 million at the box office. In the year 2012, Raaz in 3D really did a record collection of 72.90 crore within just three weekends later the sequel of 1920 repeated the hit history giving loads of collection over the Box Office.
Unlike the previous year, 2013 too proved out to be lucky for Vikram wherein his first Indian monster movie in 3D called Creature 3D embarked and rocked the box office with Bipasha Basu in the lead role. This then followed by another in the same category called 1920 London, which was the third sequel from him. He now plans a Marathi movie, which would be directed by Ashwini Kumar Patil. The shooting for the said movie is soon to commence, while soon he was even seen hosting the TV show called Ishq Kills, which is based on Real Life Romances over the Star Plus sprawling in 13 different episodes. It was telecasted in the channel called Star Plus.
