Vijay Varma Opens Up About His Initial Stance on Dating Actors and How Things Shifted with Tamannaah Bhatia
Vijay Varma says he didn’t want to date an actor when he was new in the industry, but his perception changed after he met Tamannaah Bhatia. In an interview with Film Companion, Varma said that he was hesitant to date someone in the same industry when he first started out because he didn’t want his personal life to be affected by his work. However, he said that his perception changed after he met Bhatia.
“When I was new in the industry, I didn’t want to date anyone who was from the same business,” Varma said. “I thought it would be too much of a distraction. But then I met Tamannaah and everything changed. She is someone who understands my work and she is very supportive.” Varma and Bhatia met while working on the film “Lust Stories 2” in 2022. They confirmed their relationship in January 2023.
Varma said that he is not comfortable with the attention his relationship with Bhatia gets, but he is trying to get used to it. “I am not comfortable with all the attention our relationship gets,” he said. “But I am trying to get used to it. I know that it comes with the territory of being an actor.” Varma and Bhatia are both successful actors in their own right. Varma has appeared in films such as “Kahaani”, “Dhaakad”, and “Pushpa: The Rise”. Bhatia has appeared in films such as “Baahubali: The Beginning”, “Simmba”, and “F2: Fun and Frustration”.
