The film is inspired by a real life incident in the film and talks about a young man who is recently married and works overseas. However, his wife goes missing in some mysterious circumstances in the foreign land. While soon the actor is seen leaving no stone unturned to find his wife. The film got its premiere on an OTT release in the COVID 19 Pandemic. The story of the film has been given by Faruk Kabir, who is also a director of the same.
On one side when we see the fans of the leading man demanding for a sequel, we hear the director saying that this is the final film and is not made with franchise in their minds. The filmmaker also said that the story of the movie happens to be heartfelt with additional potent content in it. However, the director also claimed that with a good response and positive review, the decision to convert it into a franchise can be possible. He also claimed that if Khuda Haafiz Chapter II comes with Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role, it will be more lethal as compared to the prequel.
