Vidya Balan mentions, ‘We Are Trying To Do A Web Series On Indira Gandhi’
The web series world is reportedly growing really high and so is its demand. This is the reason the top Bollywood celebrities are turning their heads towards working or making one of these. Sources are mentioning that Vidya Balan, the famous Bollywood face with the significance in her role of “Sulu” is taking keen interest in making a web series work for her.
The web series is stated to be produced by Vidya Balan’s husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur. Vidya Balan has openly mentioned that she is currently working on a new web series.
Further sharing a lil more on the subject, Vidya Balan said, “We are trying to do it, but let’s see how it takes shape.” Actress Vidya Balan unveiled that the series they are trying their hands on will be based on the life of the former prime minister Indira Gandhi, who is known to be the first and only woman prime minister of India with her strong decision making instincts.
Vidya while interacting with the media during the nominations announcements for the first edition of the critics’ Choice Film Awards threw a little light on her intentions of crafting an impact web series.
She further voiced on saying, “I am trying to do a web series, which will be based on the life of Indira Gandhiji. As of now, we are trying to do it, but let’s see how it takes shape.”
Adding further Vidya Balan said, “I feel doing a web series involves a lot of work. While doing a web series, a lot of people associate themselves with it as compared to making a film. So, it takes a lot of time. But when I will do it, I will make sure that it turns out really well.”
