TMKOC producer assures that late Ghanshyam Nayak alias Natu Kaka will not be replaced!

Last month, the star cast of the longest-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah suffered a major setback. Actor Ghanshyam Nayak, who played Jethalal Gada’s (Dilip Joshi) Office Assistant Natu Kaka in the film Jethalal Gada, has died. The actor had been battling cancer for a long time and had undergone many chemotherapy treatments.

Following his death, all of the show’s admirers wondered if Ghanshyam would be replaced or if the show’s track would finish. A image of a man sat in Gada Electronics (an electrical shop depicted as Jethalal’s shop in the show) went viral a few days ago.

People speculated that the man was the show’s new Natu Kaka after seeing the viral video. However, it has recently been discovered that this is not the case. The man in the picture is the shop’s owner’s father. Ghanshyam’s replacement has yet to be chosen by the producers.

While producer Asit Modi confirmed the story to a tabloid, he said that they have no plans to recast his character or bring in another actor to play Natukaka at this time. He also offered his condolences to the late actor, stating that Ghanshyam was a buddy with whom he had worked for many years. He also expressed gratitude for his involvement to the show. Finally, he asked supporters not to believe the rumours that have been circulating.
