Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health is stable; REPORTS
Last week the 92-year-old singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai after testing positive for COVID. Fans have been praying for her speedy recovery, and many have been trying to get updates about her health. While Lata Mangeshkar’s family has been sharing updates about her recovery. In the latest update, the doctor at Breach Candy hospital said that the veteran singer will continue to be in ICU. But now as per the reports, it has been said that the veteran singer is keeping well and has been shifted to the general ward.
As per the source of the Indian Express report, “Lata Mangeshkar has started having solid food from the last couple of days and is showing improvement. She is responsive and doing better. She is not on a ventilator.” Previously, her doctor Dr Pratit Samdani had told ANI that the veteran singer would take time to recover due to her age. The doctor had also informed them that she was still in the ICU.
Recently, in a chat with Etimes, Asha Bhosle revealed that pujas have been organised at Lata Mangeshkar’s house for her quick recovery. Fans, well-wishers and industry people have been praying for her recovery over the past few days. However, she added that ‘Didi is improving’ and that she is better than before. Further, she added, “They aren’t allowing anybody. I went once but wasn’t allowed inside the compound itself. There are severe restrictions and protocols being followed in view of the ongoing pandemic.”
