Vedhika is an actress and model who hails from Solapur. She was born on 21st Feb 1988 in Solapur and was raised in this city. She did her schooling from her hometown and later headed to Pune to pursue her graduation in management. She later headed to the UK for her MBA completing it from Cardiff University, Wales. She then returned to India and started her career as a model since she was attracted to the glamour industry from her young age. She then joined Kishore Namit Acting Institute in Mumbai to learn acting.

She also learned various forms of dance from Shiamak Davar School of Performing Arts in Mumbai. While she was busy learning acting, she did a couple of modeling assignments as well and worked with several brands. She then bagged her first film as Madrasi in 2006 a Tamil movie. The next year she got the film Muni followed by Vijayadasami. Since then it was no looking back for the actress as she got many South Indian films. Some of the key films include Kaalai, Sakkarakatti, Sangama, Malai Malai and Baanam to name a few.

Some of her recent films include Cousins, Shivalinga, James & Alice, Welcome to Central Jail, Gowdru sizzlingel, Tharangam and Muni 4: Kanchana 3. Some of her upcoming movies include Ruler (Telugu), Vinodhan (Tamil), Home Minster (Kannada) and Jungle (Tamil). Talking about her debut in Bollywood, she has done it with Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor starrer film The Body, which is all set to hit the screens this December. She has bagged a couple of awards for her film for best actress from Filmfare and other award platforms. She is single and not dating anyone.
