Varun Dhawan to be seen as an Army Officer in Raghurajan next film

Varun Dhawan has remained an incredible actor in B Town. He was seen in playing different characters in diverse genre films. Doing Badla an action and revenge film in the B Town in the early years of his career proved beneficial as his fans were able to see him in a tough guy rather than a chocolate guy in a couple of films he did like Student Of the Year or Main Tera Hero. Now, as per the recent buzz, the actor is all set to collaborate with the Badla director – Raghurajan playing Second Lieutenant called Arun Khetarpal, the man who gave his life in 1971 Battle of Basantar.

It is a real story of a young army officer getting Param Veer Chakra for his incredible feat and giving his life for the country. The film will have Sriram Raghavan as its director the same man who directed Badla with Varun Dhawan in the lead role. While the movie will be produced by Dinesh Vijan. Talking about the character, Varun said that it was dream come true for him as he always wanted to play an army officer on the silver screen and the Raghurajan’s next venture is giving him the opportunity.

He said he has started the preparation and has even met the Aruns brother Mukesh Khetarpal and was moved to hear the story. He said the story deserved to be told to the world and doing a film on it is the best way to do so. He further said, this film has to be shown on the screens with greater responsibility. He said the family treats this film more than any biopic movie. Talking about the filmmaker, he has given six months in researching and developing a tangible story for the film.
