Vanvaas Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Anil Sharma’s Post-Gadar 2 Release Set to Open Under 2 Crores

Anil Sharma’s last film, Gadar 2, achieved blockbuster success at the Indian box office, reigniting nostalgia for Sunny Deol’s Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel’s Sakeena, which thrilled audiences. However, Sharma’s upcoming release, Vanvaas, is set to face significant challenges and is anticipated to have a lackluster debut at the box office. On its opening day, the film is expected to earn less than 2 crores.

Scheduled to release today, this Bollywood drama features Utkarsh Sharma, Nana Patekar, and Simrat Kaur in pivotal roles. Despite the success of Gadar 2, it appears that Vanvaas will not benefit from any nostalgic appeal or positive momentum, potentially marking one of the lowest openings in Sharma’s career.The trailer, released a couple of weeks ago, suggested that the film could be a decent family entertainer with a meaningful message, receiving mostly positive feedback. Nana Patekar’s presence may attract some viewers, but the initial response is expected to be modest. Predictions indicate that Vanvaas may earn between 1 to 1.30 crores on its opening day.

Additionally, Pushpa 2 continues to perform well, further limiting Vanvaas’s exposure.While the film could potentially achieve respectable earnings in the long run if the content resonates with audiences, its opening day is forecasted to begin on a disappointing note at the Indian box office.
