Vaishali Thakkar is an Indian actress who is more seen in TV than films. She was born on 5th July 1964 in Mumbai when the city was known as Bombay. She was raised in this city and know Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and English. She did her schooling and college from Bombay itself, and since her college days, she was linked with Gujarati theatres and has, therefore, remained part of many plays and dramas. So, her career in acting started with Gujarati plays and soon moved on to the small screen doing many TV shows. TV happened in her life in 1999 when she got a long-running TV series called Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka aired on Sony TV playing the role of Bharti.

The very next year while she was doing this show, she got another TV show called Kahani Saat Pheron Ki aired at DD National. She played the character of Savri. The very same year she got another TV show known as Shaka Laka Boom Boom aired at Star Plus where she played the role of Lalita. Since then it was no looking back for her. Some of her TV shows include Shubh Mangal Savadhan, Main Office Tere Aangan Ki, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Damini Ragendra Bharti, Shakuntala, Angel, Bharat Ka Veer Putra, Baal Veer, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Malaikat Kecil Dari India, Tuyul & Mbak Yul Reborn to name a few.

Some of her recent TV shows include Yeh Vaada Raha when she was seen in the TV channel called Zee TV and she had played the Supporting Role, Kaki. In the year 2017, she got another TV show called Har Mard Ka Dard, which was aired at Life OK and she was seen in the Supporting Role. In 2018, she got the chance to be in the two TV shows including Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop where she got the supporting role called Kaushalya Ben aired at Colors TV, and currently, she is doing the show Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie playing the role Jigna Ben and it is aired at Sab TV. She has also bagged a few awards for her TV shows like ITA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, and she won the Gold Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the same. Her next awards include ITA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and BIG Television Awards for Uttaran. Her debut in Bollywood started with the film Angel.
