Vaani Kapoor is a known actress in B Town apart from being a model. Vaani Kapoor hails from New Delhi and was born on 23rd August 1988 where she was brought up at. She comes from a non-filmy background as his father is a furniture exporter and businessman in Delhi while her mom was a teacher but later landed up as a marketing professional. She did her schooling from Mata Jai Kaur Public School based in Ashok Vihar based in New Delhi, while she later went to do her graduation in tourism studies from IGNOU on a distance learning school. She then headed for the internship at Oberoi sizzlingels and Resorts in Jaipur for the internship and later did work in ITC sizzlingel. She then was signed by Elite Model Management.
Vaani soon was seen in TV screen doing a series known as Rajuben and later got the chance to work with Yash Raj Films. There she signed a three film contract with Yash Raj and debuted in B Town with the film SuddhDesi Romance. Her work was appreciated by most of the critics from different camps. She even bagged the debut award from Filmfare Award platform for her character for her first film. She then was seen in the romantic Tamil comedy called AahaKalyanam, which was the remake of Band BaajaBaraat. Again she was applauded for her work.
Her upcoming film is Befikre, which is about to come on floor soon and expected to release next year. As far as her awards are concerned, her debut film has given a number of awards under the Debut category. These include from Filmfare, Big Star Entertainment Awards, IIFA Awards, Screen Awards and Star Guild Awards, while she was also nominated for the same category for other award platforms as well including Zee Cine Awards and Screens.
