Vaani Kapoor Bags Leading Lady Role in Bell Bottom Opposite Akshay Kumar

The film has been in news when it was announced and now back in the headings for the leading lady. The makers have zeroed on the War actress Vaani Kapoor.

As per sources, the lady adds a fresh couple for the B Town films hence the makers seemed excited to confirm the lady for the leading role opposite Akshay Kumar. She will have a couple of romantic songs and sequences with Akki while she plays the wife’s role of the leading man thus staying close to the film’s narrative.
As per sources, the makers are keen on giving the lady a new look and thus one would see her in a never seen avatar with Akki. Also, the film was in the pre-production phase but as the Coronavirus widespread seems to be moving ahead, the makers now have put things on hold. Once the travel restrictions are gone, the team is likely to resume the same. The film is directed by Ranjit Tewari, while it is set in the eighties when Bell Bottom used to be in fashion.
