What Twinkle Khan has to say about Padman and working with Akshay Kumar
The Akshay Kumar starrer movie Padman is being inspired by the life of the man called Arunachalam Muruganantham, which happens to be a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who is known to have invented affordable cost sanitary napkins to create awareness in the rural areas, which is all set to release the coming year on January 26, 2018. Akshay Kumar wife Twinkle Khanna has turned producer for the movie. Well, Akshay Kumar’s wife who is also one of the leading lady to invest in the film was seen talking about the movie. She discussed the idea about why she has invested in a film like this and shared how she feels doing the same.
The lady said while she was researching for her novel, she was seen researching about this man for her column. It has gripped her and she said she left the novel in the middle to explore the subject that later prompted her to venture in a film based on this film. She then said it was Akki and Balki the director of the movie who seemed more zealous to make this story which made her to venture with this plot. The lady has been playing different roles in her life to now become the author of a book and a regular writer in the newspaper.
She was seen talking about the transition in her life when she turned a writer, from an actor apart from trying her luck in production. She said that she has no regrets about her life. She then said, being an author and a writer, she is always looking for a new story and the life of this man has impressed her a lot that went on saying that she can make a film on things like this.
