TV Star Arshi Khan’s Engagement With An Afghan Cricketer at Stake due to Recent Crisis
Arshi Khan has remained a popular face in the small screen industry. However, she is now making news for her marriage plans with an Afghan cricketer who seems to be in trouble. As per reports, it was her father who had chosen the Afghan cricketer for the lady. However, with the recent crisis taking place in Afghanistan, her father thinks that he has to now call off the engagement with the chosen man.
All thanks to the current crisis going on in the country after the Taliban have taken over the government in the country. Talking to the media she said she was supposed to get engaged this October with the Afghan cricketer. He was chosen by her father, however, due to the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, she added that she had to put an end to her relationship.
Talking about the same, she clearly said that it is a mismatch show and Arshi Khan was seen getting in touch with her soon to be fiancé and claimed that her family are fearing a lot due to the recent takeover of the country by the Taliban. She informed that the cricketer is the son of her father’s friend. She said that now her parents are likely to hunt for an Indian partner. Her roots are from Afghanistan and she comes from the Yusufzai ethnic group. Talking about her work, she has remained a part of Bigg Boss 11 as a contestant. Some of her shows include ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’, ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ and ‘Vish’.
