Trupti Desai is a social worker who has been the founder of his group called Bhumata Brigade & Bhumata Foundation, which is a Pune-based NGO or organization. Desai seems to be a supporter and is known to campaign for the entry of several women in different places. She hails from a small taluka called Nipani in Karnataka and was born on 12th December 1985 and was brought up in different places. She headed to Pune to pursue her graduation from SNDT but had to leave in between due to family issues. He got married in 2006 to Prashant who, according to the lady, is very much spiritual and a Gagangiri Maharaj follower from Kolhapur.
Desai started her career as a social worker under the flagship of Krantiveer Jhopdi Vikas Sangh in order to rehabilitate the slum dwellers in 2007. The next two years were devoted to staged protests against different financial issues and irregularities at the bank called Ajit Cooperative, which involved a fraud of 50 CR INR fraud. In 2009, she even agitated against the Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. She made headlines when an arrest warrant was issued against Pawar after she burnt the effigy of the Deputy CM. She was even arrested but later was released on bail as she used the power of activism.
Some of her key activism include she handled the issue of a woman entering a Hindu shrine at Shani Shingnapur Temple leading to the suspension of the priests in it. She even celebrated the new year day of Gudi Padwa with her female members at the said temple. She made headlines in April 2016, when she tried to enter Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai; but she was unsuccessful in doing it due to mob anger. In 2018, she made news while entering the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Considering her popularity, she was approached to enter Bigg Boss Marathi and she is now one of the key participants of the same.
