BO Update: Avatar 2 has ruled since opening day, Cirkus keeps declining, Drishyam 2 performing exceptionally in its 7th week
While James Cameron’s Avatar 2 has managed to bring lots of viewers to theatres since Day 1, Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus is in a bad state. Well, this was obvious owing to its poor content that the modern audience would never appreciate. The only thing that shocks us is that we never expected this level of output from a Rohit Shetty film. Besides these two films, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 is in its seventh week and still performing exceptionally well in theatres. Here is the third BO update.

Avatar 2 BO Update
Avatar 2 by James Cameron remains a hit in theatres. Since its release, the widely hyped Hollywood movie has done very well at the Indian box office. The film grossed a whopping 40.3 crores on its first day. Later, its earnings dropped, but the film was able to surpass the 300 crore mark. Now, it is fast approaching the Rs 350 crore mark. The film’s profits had dropped to less than half on Thursday. On the 19th day of its release, ‘Avatar 2’ has earned Rs 5.15 crore, as per preliminary estimates. The total revenue of Avatar 2 has reached Rs. 345.90 crores.
Cirkus BO Update
Moviegoers haven’t noticed anything interesting in this Ranveer Singh starter since Day 1 of its release. Its box office performance was declining by the 12th day. So far, there has been no increase in this film’s collection. This comedy flick, which was released in theatres two weeks ago, also performed poorly on Tuesday. According to early reports, ‘Cirkus’ did only Rs 50 lakh in business yesterday. So far, this film has earned approximately Rs 35.9 crore.
Drishyam 2 BO Update
Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2, released in cinemas on November 18, has gained extensive accolades. The film is a huge success at the box office thanks to the zeal of the audience to watch it even two months after its release. To date, the total earnings from this film have reached Rs 236.11 crore. On the other hand, this Abhishek Pathak directorial did business for Rs 50 lakh on Tuesday, according to initial results.
