Toofan: Farhan Akhtar starrer pushed amid Covid Second Wave, now to stream on Amazon Prime
As we saw actor director Farhan Akhtar announcing the release date of his boxing drama movie Toofan this 21st May on Amazon Prime Video, now things are skipping for the theatrical release. The release date seemed to be in trouble as the state and country is still battling against the menace. The film produced by Excel Entertainment seemed to have gone for a push for the same reason.Â
Farhan Akhtar is playing the leading role in the movie and he was quick to share the same on his Instagram handle. In his Instagram post he said, the situation in India seems to be wrecking all the time, the families are suffering and so are other people in this tough time. Talking about the movie, it is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, which has the star cast as Mrunal Thakur in the leading role apart from Isha Talwar and Paresh Rawal. This is Farhan’s second sports based film after Bhag Milkha Bhag. The two seemed to have worked together in the movie in 2013 and it did a decent buzz in the media.
