Finally, the wait is over! The makers of the upcoming comedy series “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” have presented the new Nattu Kaka. Producer of the show Asit Kumarr Modi presented actor Kiran Bhatt as the Nattu Kaka in a video that was shared on social media. Ghanshyam Nayam, the original Nattu Kaka actor, passed away last year after a protracted battle with cancer. The revelation touched fans since many of them believed Ghanshyam couldn’t be replaced.
The makers of TMKOC posted a video on their official Twitter account showing Modi Kumarr introducing theatre performer Kiran Bhatt as Nattu Kaka to followers. The producer’s heartfelt letter served as an homage to Ghanshyam. He did, however, add that although everyone missed him, the performance had to go on. The group posted a picture of Kiran with the caption, “Aap sabhi ne hume aur Nattu Kaka ko itna saara pyaar diya, uske liye hum shukraguzaar hai. Yehi pyaar ko hamesha banaye rakhna… Iss hi baat pe presenting our new Nattu Kaka Link in bio. Miliye unhe aaj raat 8:30 baje aur dekhte rahiye.”
Reacting the post, One fan said, “Ghanshyam Nayak Sir Ki Yaad Ayegi But Yeh Wale Natu Kaka Bhi Mast Hain Super Excited For Upcoming Episodes Of TMKOC.” another wrote, “Ghanshyam Nayak Cannot Be Replaced…… But We Are Happy To See Nattu Kaka’s Character Is Back Again.”
To be noted, Kiran Bhatt and Nattu Kaka had a close friendship when they first entered the theatre world. Kiran said he is happy to fill Nattu Kaka’s shoes when asked about playing his late friend. He added that it was an extremely “emotional role” and pledged to try his best to fully honour the part that Ghanshyam dominated for years.
Ghanshyam Nayam passed away from cancer in October. Age-wise, he was 77. Over 100 Gujarati and Hindi films, as well as close to 350 television series, featured the late actor.
