TMKOC : Fans express their disappointment with Sachin Shroff as new Taarak Mehta
Undoubtedly, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” is among the most adored and watched programs on Indian television. In recent years, the comedic sitcom has undergone numerous significant alterations and additions. Months after Shailesh Lodha left TMKOC, the producers recently presented actor Sachin Shroff as the new “Mehta Sahab” in the show. However, a number of fans and internet users are unhappy and angry by Sachin’s entry. Users vented their reactions on Twitter.
The original Taarak Mehta, Shailesh Lodha, quit the show saying he didn’t have much to do on it and that he felt like his presence was wasted and that he could do more. The actor will soon be seen serving as the host of a program where aspiring poets will exhibit their abilities.
On the social web, #TMKOC is trending as Twitter users respond to Sachin’s participation in the program. Tweeted one irate internet user: “End #TMKOC, don’t ruin it. After Daya left the show lost it’s touch a lot, Tapu and Sonu being replaced made a bit difference, not much. But after Covid it’s too much, Sodhi, Anjali, and then Natu kaka died and now Tarrak Mehta, they all got replaced. Old episodes were gold”.

According to rumours, Shailesh Lodha decided to leave the well-known comedy programme because he was dissatisfied with his contract. Earlier, Asit Kumar Modi’s show had been farewelled by Disha Vakani, Neha Mehta, Gurucharan Singh, Nidhi Bhanushali, and Bhavya Gandhi.
In the meantime, Sachin Shroff informed the media about joining TMKOC that he enjoys working with the entire team because they all made him feel at ease on the first day of the shoot. He continued by saying that despite being new to the show, he already felt at home with everyone. Shroff also thanked Asit for believing in him as an actor and allowing him the chance to take on the legendary character of Taarak.
