Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were supposed to kick start the shoot of Tiger 3 in March this year. However, their plan got interrupted after Katrina tested positive for Covid-19. The film again faced difficulty after the Maharashtra government also announced a complete lockdown in the state. The makers even erected a huge set in Goregoan for the shoot. The set was partially damaged by Cyclone Taukte.
Now according to the reports, the production team has decided to dismantle the sets. It was built on the SRPF Ground in Goregaon. Since the Maha Government extended the lockdown till mid-June and there is no clarity of the situation, Aditya Chopra’s YRF production house had to remove it. Now they have decided to re-erect the set when the situation is under control. Aditya Chopra is also working on getting a vaccination for all the team members. The team will only resume the shoot once the whole unit of the film will get vaccinated. As per the reports, Tiger 3 has a massive crew of about 300 people.
It was getting difficult for the makers to bear the cost of the set which has remained unused for almost 1.5 months now.
Apart from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as the main leads, Tiger 3 will also have Emraan Hashmi playing the baddie. The film will also have some parts of shoots in Europe once the team gets short of vaccinations.
