She told one of her saddest memories to an entertainment blog, in which the actress was auctioned on her honeymoon.
According to Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay Kapur’s torture began soon after their marriage. He made her to sleep with his friends over their honeymoon. Sunjay beat her up and even mentioned her price to one of his friends when she refused. Not only that, but Karisma also disclosed that Sunjay had a physical interaction with his first wife even after their marriage. When she questioned him about it, instead of accepting responsibility for his error, he began beating her.
In 2012, Karisma Kapoor decided to put an end to the torture and began living apart with her children, ending her 13-year marriage. According to reports, the actress took this significant decision for the sake of her children. She did not want them to grow up in such a miserable environment. After divorce, the actress went to Mumbai with her parents to raise her two children and live her life to the utmost.
