THIS is why Raveena Tandon was not ready to do ‘Tip Tip Barsa’ initially!

‘Tip Tip Barsa’ from 1994’s Hindi-language action thriller film ‘Mohra’ is undoubtedly one of the most iconic songs by Raveena Tandon. The song also starred Akshay Kumar. But did you know that Raveena initially didn’t want to do the song?

In an interview with the news portal, the co-screenplay writer and Mohra’s production director Shabbir told that Raveena wasn’t ready to do this song because she thought her father wouldn’t like it. But later when the director of the film Rajiv Rai told her what to do about the situation she agreed to do this song.

Raveena in an old interview with the news portal had revealed that she was never comfortable doing such provocative songs. But for ‘Mohra’, she was all convinced that it would be okay. And, it turned out to be so. According to the actress, the choreography, and the song were just fabulous. Though a bit erotic, never felt vulgar.

Raveena also said that the song was been shot for four days, on a construction site. She had to perform barefoot while rocks and nails were lying around. As she was supposed to be completely drenched in the water she even had caught cold. But her performance and sensuous moves in yellow saree had taken everyone’s breath away.

Meanwhile, we recently saw “Tip Tip Barsa” recreated by Katrina and Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s “Sooryavanshi”.
