The panic about the Coronavirus seems to be around for a while. While India is yet to register the patients suffering from this deadly disease and 39 cases for the same have been confirmed, however, the fear is still to be seen. Now, we see people taking up all the preventive measurements against the menace. One of the preventive measures includes advising for not being involved in a mass gathering. This seems to have added the impact in B Town as well.
We now see that the 83 trailers which were slated to release in a big way have put on hold. Kabir Khan and the other makers of the film had planned to come out with their trailer in a grand event to be held in Mumbai, but with the Coronavirus scare, they have now canceled the event as they suspect the low footfall for the show. The show was to be arranged at the sprawling MMRDA Grounds based in Mumbai on 11th March. But with the said reason, it has put on hold.
The event expected to be joined by the dignitaries of Bollywood and Cricketing world particularly the ones who have played in the 1983 squad. Needless to say that the entire star cast and crew were also to be supposed to be present for the same, but as per the sources close to the makers, there seems to have fewer chances to get a similar sort of event in the future for the trailer launch. The film has Ranveer Singh playing Kapil Dev, while Deepika is playing the leading lady in it apart from others.
