The Franchise Returns: John Abraham and Harshvardhan Rane Kick Off Filming for Force 3
The high-octane world of ACP Yashvardhan Singh is back. The makers of the hit action franchise have officially unveiled an intrigue-filled announcement video for Force 3, as production gets into full swing for its first schedule.
Directed by Bhav Dhulia—the filmmaker behind acclaimed series like Khakee: The Bihar Chapter and The Freelancer—this third installment promises to elevate the franchise’s signature grit to a new level.
Force 3 introduces an exciting new dynamic to the series, blending established legacy with fresh energy. John Abraham will be Reprising his iconic role as the relentless ACP Yashvardhan Singh., while Harshvardhan Rane is also Joining the franchise following two consecutive box office hits. And his character remains a mystery, he is being positioned as a formidable action hero. Lastly, Tanya Maniktala is the A Suitable Boy breakout star takes on the female lead, marking her first foray into a major action tentpole.
John Abraham, who is both producing (via JA Entertainment) and starring in the film, expressed his enthusiasm for the project: “Force has a certain grit and a strong identity that audiences have connected with over the years. I’m especially excited to introduce Harsh as an action hero; he has the presence and the hunger for this space.” For director Bhav Dhulia, the project is a full-circle moment. “Having assisted the late Nishikant Kamat on the original Force, this feels like coming home,” Dhulia shared. “I fell in love with the script immediately.”
The producers include Sheel Kumar, Shahbaz Alam, John Abraham, Sandeep Leyzell, and Minnakshi Das. And the Creative Team include the writer Simaab Hashmi, the film features a score by Ravi Basrur (KGF fame) with lyrics by the legendary Irshad Kamil.
