The Forgotten Army: A Glimpse of the Amazon Prime Web Series, Trailer Out
Amazon Prime Video launched the trailer of the much-awaited Amazon original series The Forgotten Army. The series is a story of brave soldiers of the Indian National Army (INA) based on true events, who marched towards the capital to bring back their country from the British, chanting “Chalo Delhi” against the war.
He first landed in the freedom struggle with Gandhiji, then he believed that World War is being forced on Indians. He was put under house arrest first for a long time and then at his house. Later Netaji was declared as the supreme commander of the Azad Hind Fauj in Japan by Raj Bihari Bose. He started strengthening the army and raising funds.
The Azad Hind Army had its own radio, magazine, bank, intelligence department and post office and through these they made the Indian people feel Indian. After the atomic bomb was dropped in Japan, this army got into trouble and a case was tried on this army.
Later, the British left India due to the revolt of the army. Kabir Khan has also made a documentary on this contribution of the army in this fight, then he wanted to make a film on it, but it was quite a part of the inclusion of the subject in the film. Kabir Khan started this project in 2019 when it was big and now it will be in front of the audience.
Kabir Khan told a news website during a conversation that it is one of his biggest dream project.
Produced and directed by National Award winning filmmaker Kabir Khan, the series is set to release on January 24, 2020. Sunny Kaushal’s digital debut and actress Sharvari’s acting debut are going to be made from this web series. Rohit Chaudhary, Karanvir Malhotra, MK Raina, TJ Bhanu and Shruti Seth are also to appear in the lead roles.
Most of the shooting of this series has been done on real location and the entire touch of that time is also visible in it. It has been made keeping in mind everything from rifle to dress and architect.
