‘The Flash’ Official Trailer 2: Ezra Miller’s Flash and Michael Keaton’s Batman unite in the battle of multiverse

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for DC Studios’ highly anticipated superhero film “The Flash,” which stars Ezra Miller.

The latest two minutes 50 seconds, trailer features Ezra Miller’s titular character Barry Allen travelling through DC’s Multiverse once more. Barry Allen, who lost his parents when he was young, utilises his superpowers to travel back in time and change the events of the past in order to bring his parents back.

However, his attempt to save his family inadvertently changes the future, trapping him in a new reality devoid of superheroes. In this new reality, he encounters another universe’s Flash, Batman (Michael Keaton), and Supergirl (Sasha Calle). Even General Zod (returning from 2013’s “Man of Steel”) is back in this new other realm, and the Flash, Batman, and Supergirl must band together to stop General Zod from destroying this world. The film mark’s Michael Keaton’s return as Batman after thirty years. He had played Batman in 1992’s Batman Returns.

This film about The Flash also features Batman (again) and Supergirl, who fills in for Superman, in this parallel universe. The film also stars Ron Livingston and Maribel Verd as Barry’s parents, Kiersey Clemons as Barry’s love interest Iris West, and “Aquaman” actor Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry.

The Flash is directed by Andy Muschietti, who rose to fame with his previous directorial ventures It (2017) and It: Chapter Two (2019). The Flash will be released in theatres on June 16, 2023.

In the present era of superhero films, the DCEU has not fared well on the big screen. Fury of the Gods (2023) have likewise failed to make a significant effect.
