The Family Man 2: Second Season Faces the Heat as Rajya Sabha MP Writes to IB Ministry to Ban it
After the hit of the first part of the show called The Family Man, the makers returned with the second season. It has been the most awaited season as it took the makers almost two years to announce the same. All thanks to the Pandemic that seemed to have created a nuisance for the entertainment industry. But Amazon Prime Video somewhere managed to shoot it and came out with the show announcing that the second season would be releasing on 4th June 2021.
Now, there seems to be trouble hovering on the said show as one of the Rajya Sabha MP called Vaiko has written to Mr. Prakash Javadekar, the Information and Broadcasting Minister to ban the show. He wrote a letter to the Minister saying that the show has tried to showcase the Tamil people as terrorists having links with ISI agents and Pak. He claimed that there are many sacrifices being made by the Tamil people and portraying them as terrorists is wrong.
He further went on to say that with such depictions, the people in Tamil Nadu are hurt and thus they should be prevented from getting shared on the OTT platform. He even threatened about the consequences as people may retaliate about the same. The show has a few old stars like Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi and others and it is all set to stream on 4th June 2021. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
