Thama First Look: Maddock Films Introduces Ayushmann Khurrana as ‘Insaaniyat Ki Aakhri Umeed’ and Rashmika Mandanna as ‘Tadaka’

Maddock Films has unveiled the first look posters for its upcoming horror-comedy Thama, building buzz ahead of its Diwali release. The film marks the first time Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna share lead roles, supported by powerhouse actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in key parts. The individual posters highlight the distinct personalities of each character. Ayushmann Khurrana appears in a dark, intense avatar as Alok, described as “Insaaniyat ki aakhri Umeed,” positioning him as humanity’s last hope.

Rashmika Mandanna’s character Tadaka is introduced as “Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran,” symbolizing a singular ray of light within the story.Nawazuddin Siddiqui steps into a quirky, enigmatic role as Yakshasan, labeled “Andhere ka badshah,” adding a mysterious and powerful presence to the mix. Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal’s seemingly ordinary look as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal comes with the tagline “Jo Hamesha Comedy Mein Tragedy Dhoondhte Hain,” teasing his unique blend of comedy and drama.

To heighten excitement, Maddock Films announced that The World of Thama will launch online on August 19, offering fans an immersive glimpse into the evolving Maddock Supernatural Universe. The posters’ captions read, “This Diwali, the universe gives us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide,” emphasizing the film’s mix of horror, romance, and comedy.
