Teasers of Sidharth Malhotra-Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari, Thama Likely to Be Attached to Bhool Chuk Maaf

Following the tremendous success of Chhaava, Maddock Films is back with another exciting film, Bhool Chuk Maaf, which is set to release this week. Anticipation is high due to its unique concept, light-hearted theme, star-studded cast, and the involvement of producer Dinesh Vijan. As is customary with Maddock releases, moviegoers who attend Bhool Chuk Maaf will also be treated to previews of upcoming films.
A trade source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “There’s considerable buzz in the industry that two teasers will be attached to Bhool Chuk Maaf. One of them is for Param Sundari, which is Dinesh Vijan’s next release following the Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer, scheduled for July 25. Until now, only official stills of the film have been shared, making this the first opportunity for audiences to see a promo.” The romantic comedy stars Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, and is directed by Tushar Jalota, known for Dasvi (2022).Additionally, the source mentioned, “A teaser for Thama will also be included with Bhool Chuk Maaf, according to exhibition sector reports.
It’s likely the same first-look teaser that was released in October 2024.” This horror-comedy features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya (2024) fame, with a theatrical release set for Diwali 2025.The source also noted, “Since last year, Maddock has established a tradition of debuting promotions for their films in cinemas before releasing them on digital platforms days later.
There’s a strong possibility that the teaser for Param Sundari will also be cinema-exclusive for a period before going online.”Maddock first utilized this strategy with the teaser for Stree 2, which was attached to Munjya in its second week. During the Stree 2 release, the trailer for Chhaava was showcased, and viewers experienced the fun-filled promo for Bhool Chuk Maaf on the big screen first.
