Manoj Muntashir’s Apology: The Reason Behind Adipurush Controversy

Writer Manoj Muntashir has tweeted an “unconditional apology” for his dialogues in the recently released film Adipurush. In his tweet, Muntashir said that he accepts that the film’s dialogues have hurt the sentiments of many people, and he has folded hands to offer his apologies. He also said that he hopes that Lord Hanuman will keep the country united and grant strength to all to serve the nation.

Muntashir’s apology comes after the film was criticized for its use of “vulgar” and “distasteful” language in the dialogues of Lord Hanuman. Many people took to social media to express their anger and disappointment with the film’s dialogues, and some even called for a boycott of the film.

In his apology, Muntashir said that he did not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments, and he regretted if his words have caused any pain. He also said that he has learnt his lesson, and he will be more careful in the future.

It remains to be seen whether Muntashir’s apology will be enough to appease the people who were offended by the film’s dialogues. However, his apology is a step in the right direction, and it shows that he is willing to take responsibility for his actions.

On the other hand, we see Vindoo Dera Singh who has played similar roles after hs father (Dara Singh) played it for the first time on the small screen in the Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, he called the apology as an apt action from the writer and further claimed that hope the Manoj has learnt from his mistakes.  He also feels that such films should not be allowed to be made and showcased before the audience. He further claimed that the movie flopped miserably which is their punishment.

When Manoj was asked about the reason of his apology, he replied that he considered the sentiments of the people which seemed hurt through the film and it was enough reason for him to issue an apology statement. The film has been struggling at the box office despite a good start.
