After an impressive day one, the makers of War seem to have come across a jolt now as they see their film is now leaked online. All thanks to the portal Tamil Rockers which has been doing such acts for long. Despite being clamped down by the Madras High Court and the cyber cell of the Chennai Police blocking all the URLs of the portal they come out with another to leak the movies online. With 53 Crores on the first day, the makers now have to face some setback at the box office as the audience would get the film available for download.
The high action film has impressed both the audience and critics alike making it won huge collection on day one. The second day would witness a low footfall for being the working day. The same story would remain on Friday as well, while the first weekend is expected to get a huge collection like what we have seen on the first day of the release. However, with the pirated version of the film surfacing on the Tamil Rockers site, the makers are likely to get hurt with it.
War is the second-highest grosser in the B Town after Aamir Khan starrer film Thugs of Hindostan that scored 54 Crores on the first day, however, it failed to retain the same momentum and winded up with 155 Crores at the box office turning a flop in terms of the huge investment for the film.
