Tamannaah Bhatia Joins Siddhant Chaturvedi in Chitrapati V Shantaram

Bollywood Hungama was among the first to announce the making of the biopic on the legendary filmmaker V Shantaram, with Siddhant Chaturvedi cast in the lead role of Chitrapati V Shantaram. Now, we bring exciting news that Tamannaah Bhatia has also signed on to the project.

A source shared with Bollywood Hungama, “Tamannaah Bhatia is currently on a high and has proven her versatility across varied roles. Like Siddhant, she will portray a real-life character in this film, and her role is crucial to the narrative. Tamannaah is thrilled as the part is challenging, and audiences will see her in a completely new light.”The source further revealed, “Chitrapati V Shantaram will be directed by Abhijeet Deshpande, known for the acclaimed Marathi biopic Ani… Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar (2018). He also penned notable Marathi films like Natsamrat (2016) and Hindi titles such as Table No 21 (2013), Wazir (2016), and Breathe (2018).”
