In the list of two movies releasing, which included Talvar and Singh Is Bliing, the former turned out to be an average grocer after its release of one week. The reasons were obvious and known since it was among the same movie which was earlier released in the form of Rahasya and most of the people know the case of Talwar. This made things visible before audience, who made the choice to go with Singh is Bliing giving a decent opening after the first week. Despite getting all positive reviews by a majority of critics, the film enjoyed a good pre release buzz as well, but things didn’t work for the obvious reason.
Hence after the passage of first week of Talvar the collection remained low for the film. As per reports, the film only managed to get 9.25 crores. The first week box office collection for Talvar tolled to around 15.5 crore, which was expected by everyone. Now, with the release of Jazbaa, there is no chance to see any kind of hike in its collection with just few traditional surge for the film is expected. Also, the last week release in the south in the form of Puli too did the damage attracting the other crowd to give a good collection at the end of the first week.
