There are two movies releasing this Friday, which certainly include Talvar being brought forth by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the same old 2008 double murder case of Aarushi Talvar, which will has been already being covered this year under the film called Rahasya. Hence the story is all visible before the audience so there are fewer chances for them to catch the film this Friday. However, considering 2nd October to be the holiday, you can expect certain section of the audience to catch up the film. Yet the buzz seems to be dull for the film.
Also, let’s not forget that the film has a big competition ahead in the form of Singh is Bliing, which is releasing the same day. It has loads of buzz in the media, which will be a big threat to Talvar. The film has fewer amounts of promotions in the media as compared to the Akshay Kumar release. This is perhaps the reason why a big amount of audience will be turning to SIB and not Talvar despite having impressive star cast like Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen Sharma. As per experts and trade pundits, the film is expected to give a collection of around 2-3 crores, which is okay figure for a film, which has less star value and dull promotion.
