Vikrant Massey is a TV and film actor from India. He was born on 3 April 1987 in Mumbai and was brought up in this city only. He did his schooling and college from Mumbai itself. During his college days, he remained active in cultural activities that laid the foundation to his career of acting. He is a trained ballet dancer and has remained active with Shiamak Davar, later entered into acting and choreography for the TV show called Dhoom Machaao Dhoom aired at Star Plus along with Kahaan Hoon Main aired NDTV Imagine. He then appeared in another popular TV show called Balika Vadhu aired at Colors TV.
He got recognition from this show, and he then appeared in another show Varr Dhoondo of Rakesh Pawan and Nikhil Sinha aired at NDTV Imagine. He then was seen in Dhoom Machaao Dhoom from Disney Channel aired at Star Plus. He then was seen in another TV show called Qubool Hai playing the character of Ayaan Ahmed Khan replacing Rishabh Sinha. His first venture in Bollywood was the film Lootera by Vikramaditya Motwane working with Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh. Since then it was no looking back for the actor as he got a number of films in Bollywood.
Some of the movies for the actor include Switchh, Dil Dhadakne Do, A Death In The Gunj, Half Girlfriend, Lipstick Under My Burkha, and his upcoming movie is Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. He was nominated in different award shows and bagged the titles like Indian Telly Awards getting the GR8! Face of the Year -Male and for Qubool Hai he bagged the Favourite Bhai at Zee Rishtey Awards. He then bagged the Best Performance by a Male Actor for Caleidoscope Indian Film Festival for A Death In The Gunj. He also got the Best Performance by an Ensemble Cast for Lipstick Under My Burkha.
