Aryan Khan assured officials after his release he will work for the society and poor
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB officials during a raid in a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2. During a counselling session held for him he assured the NCB officials that he would work for the welfare of the poor and never do anything that would besmirch his name in the future, an official said on Saturday.

According to an agency official, during counselling by officials including NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede and social workers, Aryan stated that after his release, he will work for the “social and financial uplift of the poor and downtrodden” and never do anything that could bring him publicity for the wrong reasons.
“He said, ‘I will do something that will make you proud of me,’” the official added.
Following his detention, Aryan, along with seven other accused, including two women detained by the NCB, attended a counselling session.
On October 20, a special court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act cases will rule on Aryan’s bail request.
