For Farhan Akhtar and his friend Ritesh Sidhwani’s production company – Excel Entertainment, Fukrey has remained the most successful films. This led them to make it a franchise and like the first installment, even the sequel did well at the box office. The film starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha has remained the big hits in B Town, which made the makers consider the third installment as well.
As per reports, both the film have entered the 100 Crore club easily and now the makers are eyeing over the third part for the series. The reports suggest that the makers are ready with the script and have even blocked the principal star cast as well apart from blocking the dates in October this year. The production team was supposed to start the shoot but with the current lockdown, things are pushed a little further, however, the makers intend to release the film in October.
The pre-production phase has already been completed and it will be directed by Mrighdeep Lamba who is just waiting to see things coming back to normal and then we see the makers starting up with the production phase which will kick start once things turn normal. A few things are remaining for the pre-production phase of the film as well and it will resume soon. The audience will soon be going to have a blast with the third part as well.
