Just when we saw the Deepika Padukone film Chhapaak getting targetted by the fringe elements on social media and real-life to boycott it for her visit to JNU, we now similar trends against the movie. The reasons are similar as the protestors have posted Taapsee Pannu’s older tweet on Social Media when she asked to gather in Azad Maidan for the anti CAA and NRC Protest in Mumbai.

She was not alone, many of the B Town actors like Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar, Javed Jaffery, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Richa Chaddha too have remained in the protest against the law called CAA.
