Lateef First Day Box Office Collection
This Friday is a busy one in terms of movie releases. The B Town has two movies to release, which include Lateef and Jai Ho Democracy, while a big time franchise from Hollywood has released its second sequel in the form of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Talking about Lateef, it is a low budget movie, with the same old storyline of a wrong man caught in the case of drug peddling, which send him behind the bars for 7 years. As far as performance is concerned, once again Nawazuddin Siddiqui is seen stealing the show.
Ironically, his performance is weak enough to attract audience owing to the low buzz found in the media for Lateef. No big time promotion of the film was evident in the media, even the trailer of the film has failed to get a good response from the audience. This has created a very meagre kind of word of mouth for the film, which can translate into a low collection.
As per reports, Lateef had a very low occupancy report, which rolled out till the evening. As per experts, the movie’s collection would remain the same in the coming weekend. The first day box office collection for Lateef tolled to around 50 lakhs, which is as expected by the experts and trade pundits. You cannot expect much from a film, which has a dull collection.
