Can Tiger 3 Reach a Guaranteed 100 Crore Opening Day with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif? Makers Unveil Their Strategy

After the success of Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan, Bollywood is gearing up for its next potential all-time blockbuster: Tiger 3. The spy thriller, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set to explode on its opening day, thanks to a smart strategy adopted by the makers. Read on to know more!

Different directors have helmed the different Tiger films, each bringing their own unique touch to the franchise. Kabir Khan directed the first film, and Ali Abbas Zafar directed the sequel. Now, everyone is eager to see how Maneesh Sharma handles the upcoming larger-than-life installment.

YRF has chosen an unorthodox day for the release of Tiger 3: Sunday, November 12th. Some believe that Sunday is the ideal day for families to go to the movies, but this is not the case in India. Laxmi Puja, a Diwali holiday with low attendance, is observed on this day. Sunday is also the lowest-grossing day of the weekend in the international market.

So, the big question is why Sunday? Well, the makers of Tiger 3 may have planned to enjoy an extra day before the big numbers start rolling in on Monday (main Diwali), which could help boost the overall total. However, the opening day is expected to be slightly lower than the crazy guesses that are circulating. To make up for the slightly lower turnout on Sunday, YRF has reportedly decided to run full-day premieres for Tiger 3 in North America on Saturday, November 11th.

Premieres are common for event films, but Tiger 3’s full-day premieres in North America are particularly exciting. Since Saturday is the best performing day during the weekend overseas, this will give a big boost to the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer. If the news of full-day premieres is true, Tiger 3 is sure to have an opening day of 100 crores gross or more at the worldwide box office.
