Anil Kapoor & Jackie Shroff Back again with a Subhash Ghai film
It was in the eighties when we had seen the actors like Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff working together. We have therefore seen a dozen movies in the eighties with most of these films did well at the box office. Its been thirty years we have seen them working together over the silver screen. One of the known films they have worked together was Ram Lakhan where Jackie played the elder brother and Anil was his younger brother. Now, we have the latest buzz in the media that the two are coming together for the next film.
Yes, you have heard it right, the actors are now coming together after thirty long years as they are seen reuniting in a sequel of their hit film Ram Lakhan. As per the sources close to them, they are back in the said remake film by Subhash Ghai. However, talking about the same, the makers claimed that it will not be a sequel but would have a different story and background as well. He said Jackie would be seen in a sober and brooding look, while Anil would remain the same playful and filled with masti.
While talking about the same, the director said although he was not active in filmmaking, but he kept in touch with all the leading actors whom he had worked earlier including Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, and Sanjay Dutt. He then said that the male actors have given him respect, while the female actress has not. He then said that women although are emotionally equipped to move into different kind of relationships very fast but he was not able to feel that with him.
