SRK to produce Govinda and Raveena Tandon’s ‘Dulhe Raja’ remake?

The SRK-owned production house has acquired the rights to 1998’s popular comic film ‘Dulhe Raja’. It seems like the actor is planning to remake this ’90s movie. According to reports from Pinkvilla, he has recently purchased the rights of Raveena Tandon and Govinda starrer.

Farhad Samji, who is in the news for his association with Salman Khan for the project ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan‘ is also involved. If reports are to be believed, he has started working on the draft script for Dulhe Raja’s remake.

As per reports, the team SRK will produce the remake if the screenplay of script feels worthy. Otherwise, they will continue to gross profits from the original film’s Television and digital premiere.

Besides Govinda and Raveena Tandon, the comedy flick also has Kadar Khan, Prem Chopra, Johny Lever, Viju Khote, Mohnish Behl, and Asrani as prominent characters.

Shah Rukh Khan’s home production has been availing some really interesting and binge-worthy content for the viewers. Their latest offering was ‘Darlings‘ which did quite well on OTT. We are certain there is more to come as the makers are exploring a different type of content for the audience.

Shah Rukh is busy filming for Atlee’s Jawaan in Chennai right now. He will continue to shoot till the end of this month. After that, he will be back in Mumbai to shoot for his cameo in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.

The actor is also waiting for the release of his much-awaited movie ‘Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It is scheduled to release next year in 2023. SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu in the works.
