The film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein often referred to as RHTDM has remained one of the classic movies in B Town. The film had R Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the leading role with Anupam Kher and others. The movie bagged several awards and now we have a new buzz heard around it claiming that the film producer Jackky Bhagnani is gearing up to work on RHTDM’s remake. The film was directed by Gautham Menon and it was one of the biggest hits of 2001 and impressed the audience in a big way.Â
As per reports, Jaccky has taken up the official remake of this film by taking her filmmaker mother and Ravi Udyawar in his fold to direct this remake. As per Bollywood Hungama, Jackky is gearing up to make a remake of the said movie which still remains a cult film in B Town history of movies and people still like it with all the capacities. He has all the trust of his mother that allows him to rope her for directing the film.
While talking about the same, he is also going to consider Ravi as a co-director of his mother. The two main leads like R Madhavan and Dia Mirza are retained from the original film as they will be doing their cameos in it and interestingly they will be playing their original characters – Maddy and Reena respectively, while there are reports that he is on the verge of finalizing a fresh couple for the movie. There are rumours that he is going to cast Vikcy Kaushal and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles.Â
