Jai Mummy Di Movie Review

Review

The film is a comedy with two aunties at the center stage and their kids and husbands remain their victims. Despite all the odds between the two families, we see their son and daughter fall in love. The forbidden love affair gets one chance to the other amidst the mess the two ladies create. The story seems interesting but it lags many things. It fails to grip the audience and soon the story derails even the film reaches to its half. One can find too many songs that hamper the entertainment value.

Talking about the performances the two mothers played by Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon have come upon with their finest works. On the other side, both Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall too remained average. The other elements like music, screenplay, direction, photography and other technical elements did not remain par to the requirements. Thus these elements did little to boost up the entertainment value of the film.

‘Jai Mummy Di’ The Last Word

The film is seen working in a limited degree only away from the glam factor that could attract the audience. With its hummable musical content, what we see in the rest of the film is simply bland and boring. So, if you plan to catch this film, do it on your own risk.
