SSR Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty Wants Future Date to Appear before ED
Just when we heard that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Rhea Charaborty for recording her statement on money laundering, we now have an update on this case. As per reports, the lady now has requested the ED to push the date of recording the statement for the issued summon. She was supposed to appear today for the same. However, she has requested first for the widespread of COVID 19 virus in the city and now we hear that the lady wants to attend the ED only after the next hearing at the Supreme Court.Â
As per the morning reports, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde was seen confirming about the same to the media. He confirmed that his client Chakraborty has requested for a postponement for the above said reasons. However, in his official statement, the lawyer has not given any further details about it. So, with this development taking place, we now know that the lady is not going to record her statement with the ED, which was scheduled for today.
In the meantime, the Bihar DGP issued a statement saying that Rhea is avoiding to appear before the ED as she fears to be arrested. Well, he seems to be partially right as the lady has pushed the date of appearing before the ED. Now, it would be interesting to see what goes on next. Before calling Rhea, the ED has asked Samuel Miranda, the house manager of Sushant Singh Rajput to appear. They grilled him for a few hours and claim that they have some crucial information in the case. On the other side, we see CBI taking up the case and things are now falling under the order.
