Renowned Indian television actress Surbhi Chandna recently had a highly unpleasant travel experience with Vistara Airlines, and she’s not holding back her frustration. Taking to Instagram, Chandna shared her ordeal with her followers, accusing the airline of mishandling her luggage, providing false promises, and subjecting her to “mental torture.”
Chandna’s ordeal began when one of her priority bags was offloaded during the flight and did not arrive in Mumbai with her. Upon her arrival, she attempted to contact Vistara staff for information but allegedly received no satisfactory responses.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, Chandna expressed her disappointment, stating, “The WORST AIRLINE award goes to @airvistara. A priority bag was offloaded for reasons known only to them. They have wasted the entire day, and I still have not been given assurance if the bag has reached the Mumbai airport or not. The airline’s staff has provided false promises and caused unnecessary delays.”
She further conveyed her frustration with the airline’s handling of the situation, saying, “They are uncertain about arranging a vendor to deliver the bag if it is located, adding to the mental harassment they have put me through. The airline’s staff has been incompetent and their false promises have caused mental distress. The airline’s delays have been terrible. I strongly advise you to think twice before flying with this pathetic airline.”
Chandna specifically mentioned an individual staff member whom she found to be “extremely rude in her approach” and exhibiting “unprofessional and unapologetic” behavior. According to Chandna, this incident highlights the airline’s poor staff service, particularly when the airline is at fault.
