Kangana Ranaut kept working despite being diagnosed with dengue, says, “body gets ill and not the spirit”
Kangana Ranaut has once again shown how hard-working and dedicated she is to her work commitments. Despite being sick and diagnosed with dengue, the Dhakkad actress didn’t stop and kept working on her upcoming movie, ‘Emergency’.Â
Manikarnika Films Production, the actress’ production team showers praise on her for continuing her work in such conditions.
The team posted some Instagram stories along with Kangana’s photo. The story reads, “When you’re down with dengue, high fever, and an alarmingly lower white blood cell range but still come to work, it’s not just passion, it’s your madness. Our chief is inspiring. @kanganaranaut
Responding to the story, Kangana wrote, “Thanks team @manikarnikafilms body may get sick, but not the spirit.”
Let us tell you this is all work regarding Kangana’s upcoming venture, ‘Emergency’. It will showcase the happenings of time when Indira Gandhi announced the state of emergency on June 25, 1975, which ended on March 21, 1977. The Janata Party received the vote to power in that historic election.Â
The actress has also portrayed the Lt. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha, in her biopic movie ‘Thalaivi’ and also played Jhansi Ki Rani in ‘Manikarnika’.
Ritesh Shah, popular for movies like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Pink’, and ‘Airlift’, has written the dialogues for Emergency.
Kangana, who was last seen in Dhakkad, also has projects like Tiku Weds Sheru, Sita, Tanu Weds Manu 3, and Imli in her kitty. The actress is herself directing Emergency, which is expected to be released in cinemas by the end of this year.
