With the huge success of the recently released “Shabaash Mithu” actress, Taapsee Pannu is all set for her new film “Dobaaraa”. Dobaaraa is a 2022 Hindi-language mystery drama which is directed by Anurag Kashyap, Written by Nihit Bhave, and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film is based on the Spanish film Mirage. This new-age thriller is all set to be released on 19th August 2022.
Interestingly Taapsee Pannu and director Anurag Kashyap are uniting “Dobaaraa” for the third time after Manmarziyaan and Saand Ki Aankh. Apart from Anurag Kashyap, the film will also be marking Taapsee’s reunion with actor Pavail Gulati. To note, Taapsee and Pavail had shared the screen in Anubhav Sinha’s 2020 release Thappad.
While sharing the trailer of the film with the audience Taapsee wrote, “Sometimes all you need is a second chance…. Because time wasn’t ready for the first one…. In the trailer, we could see Taapsee Pannu’s character struggling to solve the mystery behind a murder. Which succeeds in holding the interest of the audience.
Earlier, along with posting pics from the sets of Dobaaraa Taapsee had also shown her excitement about collaborating with Anurag Kashyap. She captioned it as, “My #DobaaraaSeries Coz some collaborations deserve to be repeated..Ready to create more memories because we were running out of Manmarziyaan stories to tell..@anuragkashyap10 let’s do this #Dobaaraa”.
It is also said that this upcoming directorial of Anurag Kashyap will be the opening night film at IFFM 2022.
