Known Singer Discovered Dead at her Sultanpur Residence; Authorities Exclude Foul Play

The woman’s father, Babban Singh, shared, “My daughter Vijay Laxmi, known in Bollywood as Mallika Rajput, was not only an actor but a versatile artist… a singer, poet, and writer. She had collaborated with Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut in the 2014 film, Revolver Rani, and authored a book on prominent political figures.”
Sultanpur Superintendent of Police Somen Barma mentioned that the next steps will be determined based on the inquiry report. He added, “When the body was found, the woman’s family members, including her mother, were present in the house, located in the Sitakund. The family has not made any allegations against any person so far.”
