Taali First Look Out: Sushmita Sen will play the role of a transgender activist Gauri Sawant
Sushmita Sen has announced her upcoming web series Taali where she is going to play Gauri Sawant, a transgender activist. She posted the first look from the show and mentioned in her post that she was proud and privileged to have brought the transgender Sawant story on screen. Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav is going to direct the movie. Seeing this different look of Sushmita, she is definitely commendable.

Let us tell you about the Gauri Sawant.
Gauri is an activist who founded the Sakhi Char Chowgi Trust, a National government organization ( NGO) that provides advice to transgender people and promotes safe sex. The 6th episode series will follow Sawant’s life, her struggles, and the obstacles she faces in becoming India’s first transgender mother. The bond between an emotional mother-daughter will also be shown in this.
